A Hearty Appetite and Hard Work

This is how Timmy found himself in size THREE diapers today.

That's right, my baby is wearing size 3. The same baby born less than 4 months ago.

Suddenly nervous for my grocery bill in a few years...although maybe his income from being a husky size model will help offset that a bit

baby bellies are the best! size 3 already? well that might not be so shocking... it's better to be safe than sorry :)

Charlie started wearing size 3's around the same age. Not because his belly was too big, but because the size 2's absorbent capacity was too small. However, he's been in size 3's ever since, and he's over 8 months old now. The growth slows down after the first few months.

BTW, Huggies are significantly cheaper than Pampers. The boxes are the same price, but the Pampers boxes contain more diapers. Pampers also gives out better coupons ($1.50 vs. $1).

Hanah, you always leave such helpful tidbits for me!

Were you saying Pampers or Huggies are cheaper? We usually price out the diapers in a cost per diaper and buy whatever is cheaper after we use coupons/sales/etc... We found out that huggies tend to prevent blow-outs better for the more "husky size" baby, but these pampers were super cheap so my husband just picked them up when he saw them.

And I keep hoping that his growth will slow down, if only for the benefit of him fitting into clothes for longer than a month... I want to see Charlie!

Huggies are cheaper every time I compare, but maybe you got lucky and found a good sale on Pampers that time.

I don't blog, so nobody ever gets to see Charlie. Here are my dad's photo albums (mine is divided by month so it's hard to link to).
