The First Thing I'm Going to Do

Timmy finally had a tooth poke through his gums yesterday. I think there are a few more bottom teeth on their way soon.



The first thing I thought about, naturally (?) was when I should start weaning him. He will now drink straight formula from his sippy cup without too much protest, so I know that if I really wanted to, I could transition him to that. After the great advice I received from all of you out there, I decided to just basically stop pumping, and I give him formula a couple of times a week, nursing the rest.

My new plan is to just continue this pattern until Timmy turns 1 or so, and then just slow down on the nursing, hopefully stopping within a few months altogether. Of course, if the little stinker bites down at any point, formula immediately!


Anyway, I decided the first thing I'm going to do once Timmy is completely weaned and my boobs are my own again is take a weekend trip away. Sans pump. Sans baby. Maybe I'll bring PJO along ;)
