On the Mend

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and sweet comments over the past week or however long it's been. It's really comforting to be able to whine and dwell on the past a little bit even if life goes on in the real world. I think we're finally getting better here.

I took Timmy to the doctor yesterday because his congestion and coughing were not getting any better. Apparently the congestion had backed into his ears because it had persisted so long, so now we have an antibiotic. I really hope that's the last of it because neither the pediatrician nor the pharmacy are any place you want to be right now. I left my house at 1:45pm and didn't return until 6:30. That's right, those two errands will take close to 5 hours in flu season!

Pretty soon, I'm sure Timmy's biggest complaint will be about me forcing him to wear a hat just because it's cute (even if it is so tight, it leaves a little ring on his head...ok, once I realized that I stopped, but seriously. This hat is 2T-5T. He is 10 months old. My baby is an alien).
