We went to the Dolphin show and Shamu, fed the sea lions, saw the sharks, polar bears and penguins, and played in the sesame street play area. Ellie mostly hung out in the Ergo or slept in the stroller.
Just when I think that I never want my babies to grow out of babyhood, I go places like this and think about how much fun family vacations might be in 5-10 years when we don't have to deal with strollers, naps or height restrictions.
Sunday we crossed off one item from our LA bucket list and finally took Timmy to the Griffith Observatory. He (obviously) didn't care that much about the display on the big bang theory or touching pieces of the Moon, but he did have a great time "looking for Martian Mickey."
Two very fun and very free activities with my whole family in one weekend...I'm a lucky girl.

That's a lot of gear girlfriend!
Glad you had a good day out and about.
So much fun! Quick question, what kind of double stroller is that you're using and what's the insert for the baby. With 2 under 2 we'll definitely need one and I'm really having a hard time dealing with the $400+ price tag of many of them!
Izzie...that stroller is a double Maclaren I bought on Craigslist for $100 and I just put the snuzzler in there since we don't need it for her carseat. I like it and you can't ask for an easier stroller, but I'm not sure it would be great if you use it often (it's hard to push with a heavier kid in it and not super accessible baskets to store stuff). Timmy almost never rides in strollers, but if he did, I would look for a smoother ride. If I were you, I would find what you like and then start looking on Craigslist or second hand stores now.
