Timmy's First Room

Our lease is up August 1st. While I don't plan on moving out the day after the Bar exam, we are starting to look at new places for rent. While there are a lot of things I would change about this apartment if I could, I am starting to realize that it is still going to be sad when we leave here, whenever that may be. This is the place where I spent my last year in law school, where I went into labor and where we brought home our first born. This is where we learned the lessons of first-time parenting and the joys of babies.

One of the things I do love about this apartment is the nursery. It was fun to decorate it and get it ready for his arrival. My pregnancy didn't seem like it was really going to end in a baby being born until we had a little place set up just for him.

He slept in his crib starting when we brought him home from the hospital and we do a lot of playing and reading books in there now.

He LOVES looking at the pictures here. The grandparents, mom and dad, but mostly the picture of himself:
