When we decided to go ahead and try to start a family, we read all of these stories about how couples had to wait 3-6 months to get pregnant or it took medical help. So mentally I was expecting the ups and down of negative tests with the eventual positive result in the future. Nope, one and done.
It is pretty awesome to know that we have no problems in that area, but I am in a bit of shock at how everything is so real now. Nine months from now there will be a little person in our lives that will suddenly matter more to me than I can imagine. Life is good.
